Truths to be Kept in Mind by Young Men

1. The Ideal of a Clean Life

Psa 119:9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.
Psa 119:10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.
Psa 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

2. The Certainty of a Day of Reckoning
Eccl 11:9 Be happy, young man, while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you to judgment.
3. The Value of Restraint
Lam 3:27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young.
4. The Power of Personal Influence
1 Tim 4:12 Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
5. That Soberness is Better than Frivolity

Titus 2:6 Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.
Titus 2:7 In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness

6. Moral Strength is Mightier than Physical

Prov 20:29 The glory of young men is their strength, gray hair the splendor of the old.
1 John 2:13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father.
1 John 2:14 I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

7. Remember your Creator in the days of your youth

Eccl 12:1 Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"
Eccl 12:2 before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds return after the rain;
Eccl 12:13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
