The Year of Deliverance and Revival- 2004

Dear brothers and sisters,

Loving New Year Greetings in Jesus name.  As I was praying for this New Year the spirit of the Lord Gove me these verses to share with you.  So on the basis of the word of God I declare this New Year as a year of deliverance in which you can have all types of deliverance for your physical life and a revival for your spiritual life.

When we say deliverance the bible says about three types of deliverance the children of God can get:

The deliverance we get because of the anointing of God as in Isa 10:27, "It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil."

Deliverance through the word of God as in John 8:32  "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Deliverance because of the Son of God as in John 8:36  "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

God always delivers His people through some one whom He sends as a deliverer: (God anointed different leaders in different times to lead His people out of slavery and oppression of the enemies.) 2 Ki 17:39 Rather, worship the LORD your God; it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies."

Joseph Gen 45:7 But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

Moses Exo 14:13 & 14: "Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.  Vs. 14, "The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still."  Exo 14:29 to 31:  "But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.  Vs. 30, "That day the LORD saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore.  Vs. 31, "And when the Israelites saw the great power the LORD displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant."

Samson Judg 13:5, "because you will conceive and give birth to a son. No razor may be used on his head, because the boy is to be a Nazirite, set apart to God from birth, and he will begin the deliverance of Israel from the hands of the Philistines."

Samuel 1 Sam 2:1 Then Hannah prayed and said: "My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance.

The importance of the Holy Spirit as a deliverer in the bible:

Zec 4:6, "So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts."

Mat 12:28, "But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you." - Jesus told this when He was on this world doing deliverance ministry.

Isa 61:1 to 3:  "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,

Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor;

He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives,

And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

Isa 61:2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,

And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,

Isa 61:3  To console those who mourn in Zion,

To give them beauty for ashes,

The oil of joy for mourning,

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

That they may be called trees of righteousness,

The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified."

Deliverance through the word of God is needed otherwise our soul will cling to the dust of this earth only as in Psa 119:25, My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word."

John 8:32  "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

God delivers us from all problem so believe God like apostle Paul as in 2 Cor. 1:10 He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us,

Let us believe in this New Year the total restoration given by God as a provision made by Him since all cannot have a restoration by themselves as in Lev 25:13 "In this Year of Jubilee everyone is to return to his own property."  The year of restoration is needed to enable those who cannot obtain it by their own strength.

May the Lord deliver us from all types of sin, sickness, curses and all types of demonic oppressions in this New Year to give us a total deliverance in our lives and revive our spiritual life to serve Him faithfully and bear fruits for the Kingdom of God.  Amen.
