As In the letter of apostle John 3 John 1:2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. May the Lord bless you and keep you from all earthly worries.
Mat 13:22 The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful.
Mark 4:19 but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.
Luke 8:14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life's worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.
Mat 6:27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life ?
Mat 6:28 "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labour or spin.
Mat 6:29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these.
Mat 6:30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Mat 6:31 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
Mat 6:32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
Mat 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Mat 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Luke 12:25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life ?
In Luke 10:41 "Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things,
Luke 10:42 but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."
So I write that you may get this Only one thing without fail.
Always Pray to God,
He is your Father, He has Promised to be with you until the end of this world. In Mat 28:20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Phil 4:6 Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Phil 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. This joy and Peace is not having any limitations as Hab 3:17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
Hab 3:18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Saviour.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:28 "You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater
than I.
John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
2 Cor 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
2 Cor 1:4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
Heb 2:17 For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.
Heb 2:18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
Heb 3:1 Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess.
Heb 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Heb 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and prefecture of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Heb 12:3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
To Share with others the Peace we got it from Jesus.
Mat 10:12 As you enter the home, give it your greeting.
Mat 10:13 If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you.
Luke 10:5 "When you enter a house, first say, 'Peace to this house.'
Luke 10:6 If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you.
2 Cor 1:4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
As you share the Peace of God to others some thing what you will never expect will happen
Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
Mat 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:11 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
So it is the Christian Suffering helps you to get in to heaven and get a reward from the master.
Now are you willing to know the will of God?
Because only by doing the will of God we can enter in to the Kingdom of God. In Mat 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord, 'will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
2 Tim 3:12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
Yes, It is Christian Suffering which helps you to Partake in the Kingdom of God.
In this message by the grace of our God Jesus Christ who gave his very life for us as in Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. I like to share some valuable truths on Christian suffering about which we seldom heard and thought. The Bible say's in Mat 5:18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Mat 5:19 Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Even to the disciples of Jesus, this Suffering of Christ was some thing that they cannot understand. Mat 16:21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. Mark 8:31 He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again. Luke 9:22 And he said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life."
Mat 16:22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!"
Mat 16:23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men." So we must understand this concept to have the mind of God and not as a human person think. So the Suffering is some thing from the very mind of our God not by any human mind are will. since it is not human to desire Suffering.
Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
Luke 9:24 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.
Luke 9:25 What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?
Luke 9:26 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. Luke 17:25 But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
Luke 17:26 "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man.
Luke 17:27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
Luke 17:28 "It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
Luke 17:29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulphur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
Luke 17:30 "It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
Luke 17:31 On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.
Luke 17:32 Remember Lot's wife!
Luke 17:33 Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
Luke 17:34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
Luke 17:35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."
A New Concept to the New Testament Church
Luke 22:15 And he said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.
Luke 22:16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfilment in the kingdom of God."
Luke 22:17 After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, "Take this and divide it among you.
Luke 22:18 For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."
Luke 22:19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me."
Luke 22:20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
Now to the Church which is the very body of Christ, which also remember him by taking the Holy Communion Peter say's Pet 2:21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
1 Pet 2:22 "He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth."
1 Pet 2:23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.
For us who follow our Lord Jesus Christ now in this last days the word of God is the measure stick through which we have to currect our self and live and follow our Lord Jesus Christ, who is preparing now a place for those who follow him in this world as per the word of God John 14:2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
and then he will come back and take us that we make also be with him for ever as in John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
Earlier in Mark 10:28 Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!"
Mark 10:29 "I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel
Mark 10:30 will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.
Mark 10:31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first."
But later the same Peter after receiving the Holy Spirit say's in Acts 3:18 But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Christ would suffer. Later in his letter to the Church 1 Pet 1:6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. Also in 1 Pet 4:16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. So through the same Apostle Peter whom once Jesus called "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men." now writes to New Testament Church in his letter 1 Pet 4:19 So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.
Some how Apostle Paul understood this Christian concept of Suffering right from the time of his divine call. Acts 9:15 But the Lord said to Ananias, "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel.
It is a great revelation Apostle Paul brings to this present New Testament Church
Phil 1:29 For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him,
1, To believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
In John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God So all of us who believe Jesus become his Children.
2, To Suffer for the Lord Jesus Christ. It need's greater faith on God to suffer for Him.
In Phil 3:10 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
Phil 3:11 and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
Phil 3:12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
Because this will bring the eternal glory and sharing with Jesus as in 2 Tim 2:12 if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us;
1 Pet 1:6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
1 Pet 1:7 These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Acts 5:41 The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.
Rom 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
Many people Believe Jesus Christ and get lot of blessings.
Now, We can divide the whole Christian Church in to two groups. As those who believe Jesus and those who believe and also suffer for him.
Believing Jesus Christ as our Lord, Saviour and healer is needed for all. But if we follow Jesus only for some wordily gains the Bible says in 1 OCR 15:19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.
Our Lord Jesus also before healing a person used to ask this Question ?
Mat 9:28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" "Yes, Lord," they replied.
Mat 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Mat 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."
Mark 5:36 Ignoring what they said, Jesus told the synagogue ruler, "Don't be afraid; just believe."
Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Luke 8:12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.
John 3:12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?
John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

John 20:29 Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
But very few people will understand the suffering for the Lord Jesus Christ.
We must have The Vision about Heaven To Day to understand the importance of Biblical Sufferings.
Rev 7:9 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
There was some Question Asked at Heaven about the great multitude?
Rev 7:13 Then one of the elders asked me, "These in white robes who are they, and where did they come from?"
The Answer was:
Rev 7:14 I answered, "Sir, you know." And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
What was done to those who gone through this great tribulation?
Rev 7:15 Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.
Rev 7:16 Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat.
Rev 7:17 For the Lamb at the centre of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
Why Suffering Comes in our Christian Life?
1. Because of the will of God the Father. When our Lord Jesus Christ was Praying in the Garden of Gethsemane in Mat 26:39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." Also in Mat 26:42 He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done." Also in Mat 26:44 So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. The Answer of the Father God came in a different way as it is said in Luke 22:43 An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. So that his Son Jesus Christ can finish the work for which he was sent.. We are also the same way has to do the will of God. In Mat 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. In Job 42:2 "I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted.
2. Because of Following the Lord Jesus Christ. In Mat 5:11 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Mat 10:22 All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
Mat 24:9 "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
Mark 13:13 All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
Luke 21:17 All men will hate you because of me.
The Answer is in John 6:57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. In Phil 2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
Phil 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Phil 2:11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
3. Because of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. In the Bible people of God right from the O.T. times to Christ all Prophets had given the Word of God by the Holy Spirit. Jesus told in Mat 5:12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. In James 5:10 Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. In 2 Pet 1:21 For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. In Acts 7:51 "You stiff-necked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are just like your fathers: You always resist the Holy Spirit!
Acts 7:52 Was there ever a prophet your fathers did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him--
Acts 7:53 you who have received the law that was put into effect through angels but have not obeyed it."
Acts 7:55 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.
4. Because of the Word of God. Like Our Lord the Word of the Lord also is from the beginning and no one can destroy him. In John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Bible say's in Mat 5:18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. In Mat 13:21 But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. In Mark 4:17 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. The Answer is in Acts 4:31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
5. Because of the call of God in our life. In Mat 10:16 I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. But in Rom 11:29 for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable. Also in Rom 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. In 1 Cor 1:24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. In 2 Tim 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
2 Tim 1:8 So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,
2 Tim 1:9 who has saved us and called us to a holy lifeboat because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
In 2 Pet 1:10 Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall,
2 Pet 1:11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
6. Because of the Righteousness of God. In Mat 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. In Mat 5:20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. In Rom 1:17 For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." The Answer is In Job 9:22 It is all the same; that is why I say, 'He destroys both the blameless and the wicked.' and in Psa 9:16 The LORD is known by his justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands. Higgaion. Selah. In Psa 1:5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgement, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
Psa 1:6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. When we
7. Because of the Cross of God. To form a cross two lines are needed. The vertical line shows our relationship with God. Isa 59:1 Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.
Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
The Horizontal line shows our relationship with fellow human beings. In 1 John 4:20 If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
1 John 4:21 And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
So when we try to maintain both of these relationship in order then only we can form a cross.
In Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
Luke 9:24 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.
Luke 9:25 What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?
Luke 9:26 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
In 1 Cor 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Gal 6:14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
When we get this Suffering? How we get this Suffering? Mainly when we relax a lot without waiting before the Lord, May be like the disciples of Jesus when we should watch and pray but if we sleep at that time without hearing the loving warnings of our Lord that time is the most busy time for the enemy
Mat 13:25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.
Mat 13:26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
Mat 13:27 "The owner's servants came to him and said, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?'
Mat 13:28 "'An enemy did this,' he replied. "The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and pull them up?'
Mat 13:29 "'No,' he answered, 'because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them.
Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.'"
One of the main reasons for this will be a sign for the Last Days.
Mat 24:21 For then there will be great distress, unequalled from the beginning of the world until now and never to be equalled again.
Mat 24:22 If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
Enmity is one of the valid reasons for our Suffering.
Mat 27:17 So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, "Which one do you want me to release to you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?"
Mat 27:18 For he knew it was out of envy that they had handed Jesus over to him.
Mark 15:10 knowing it was out of envy that the chief priests had handed Jesus over to him.
When we are not strong in the Lord and specially when we are not wearing Spiritual armour of God as it is in Eph 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Eph 6:14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
Eph 6:15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
Eph 6:16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Eph 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Eph 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
Luke 11:22 But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armour in which the man trusted and divides up the spoils.
For the word of God to reach some area God uses new methods, Just trust Him.
Luke 21:12 "But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.
Luke 21:13 This will result in your being witnesses to them.
Luke 21:14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.
Luke 21:15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
The Suffering Scattered the Church people through out Judea and Samaria but God in his plan reached those people in this way. v.4
Acts 8:1 And Saul was there, giving approval to his death. On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.
Acts 8:2 Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him.
Acts 8:3 But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off men and women and put them in prison.
Acts 8:4 Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.
This is one of the reasons we get Suffering.
Acts 12:1 It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them.
Acts 12:2 He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword.
Acts 12:3 When he saw that this pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Mark 15:15 Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.
Acts 12:4 After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover.
Acts 12:5 So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
Acts 12:6 The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance.
Acts 12:7 Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. "Quick, get up!" he said, and the chains fell off Peter's wrists.
Acts 12:8 Then the angel said to him, "Put on your clothes and sandals." And Peter did so. "Wrap your cloak around you and follow me," the angel told him.
Acts 12:9 Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision.
Acts 12:10 They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.
Acts 12:11 Then Peter came to himself and said, "Now I know without a doubt that the Lord sent his angel and rescued me from Herod's clutches and from everything the Jewish people were anticipating."
Only a persecuted Person can Strengthen those who go through Suffering. Suffering is like a gate to enter in to heaven.
Acts 14:19 Then some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowd over. They stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, thinking he was dead.
Acts 14:20 But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. The next day he and Barnabas left for Derbe.
Acts 14:21 They preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch,
Acts 14:22 strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said.
When some people loose their income because our Gospel they give trouble.
Acts 16:16 Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling.
Acts 16:17 This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, "These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved."
Acts 16:18 She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, "In t he name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!" At that moment the spirit left her.
Acts 16:19 When the owners of the slave girl realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities.
This is one more reason for our sufferings.
Acts 17:5 But the Jews were jealous; so they rounded up some bad characters from the marketplace, formed a mob and started a riot in the city. They rushed to Jason's house in search of Paul and Silas in order to bring them out to the crowd.
Acts 17:6 But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some other brothers before the city officials, shouting: "These men who have caused trouble all over the world have now come here,
Acts 17:7 and Jason has welcomed them into his house. They are all defying Caesar's decrees, saying that there is another king, one called Jesus."
Acts 17:8 When they heard this, the crowd and the city officials were thrown into turmoil.
Acts 17:9 Then they made Jason and the others post bond and let them go.
Many times because of insecurity feeling and fear of loosing their Importance People do this.
Acts 19:24 A silversmith named Demetrius, who made silver shrines of Artemis, brought in no little business for the craftsmen.
Acts 19:25 He called them together, along with the workmen in related trades, and said: "Men, you know we receive a good income from this business.
Acts 19:26 And you see and hear how this fellow Paul has convinced and led astray large numbers of people here in Ephesus and in practically the whole province of Asia. He says that man-made gods are no gods at all.
Acts 19:27 There is danger not only that our trade will lose its good name, but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be discredited, and the goddess herself, who is worshiped throughout the province of Asia and the world, will be robbed of her divine majesty."
Acts 19:28 When they heard this, they were furious and began shouting: "Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!"
Acts 19:29 Soon the whole city was in an uproar. The people seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Paul's travelling companions from Macedonia, and rushed as one man into the theatre.
Holy Spirit can make you more bolder and strong for God than hardships can discourage. As I study the men of faith life they all got bolder and bolder than got discouraged by satan.
Acts 20:22 "And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there.
Acts 20:23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me.
Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.
Doing the will of the Lord is more than our life by this process only the called people(more) get a chance to get a definite .place in the few selected(few) list.
Acts 21:10 After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.
Acts 21:11 Coming over to us, he took Paul's belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, "The Holy Spirit says, 'In this way the Jews of Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.'"
Acts 21:12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem.
Acts 21:13 Then Paul answered, "Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus."
Acts 21:14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, "The Lord's will be done."
When you work for God more in more place more sufferings can come that is why he says in Rom 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
Acts 21:28 shouting, "Men of Israel, help us! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against our people and our law and this place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple area and defiled this holy place."
Acts 21:29 (They had previously seen Trophimus the Ephesian in the city with Paul and assumed that Paul had brought him into the temple area.)
Acts 21:30 The whole city was aroused, and the people came running from all directions. Seizing Paul, they dragged him from the temple, and immediately the gates were shut.
Acts 21:31 While they were trying to kill him, news reached the commander of the Roman troops that the whole city of Jerusalem was in an uproar.
Suffering increases our value.
1 Pet 1:6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
1 Pet 1:7 These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed.
1 Pet 1:8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
The hidden blessings of this unjust sufferings will be great.
1 Pet 2:19 For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God.
1 Pet 2:20 But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.
1 Pet 2:21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
1 Pet 2:22 "He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth."
1 Pet 2:23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.
We should be always led by the spirit not the natural instinct.
Jude 1:18 They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires."
Jude 1:19 These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
The period of our suffering is repeatedly told for select people it will be less. So do not lose the crownRev 2:10 Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.
This shows our Fatherly hearted God. Who has a concern for you more than all the people in the world.
Rev 7:16 Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat.
Rev 7:17 For the Lamb at the centre of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
