Why Should We Pray For All The Countries ? |
||
|
The Bible
says in Eph 6:18 and pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds
of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always
keep on praying for all the saints.
As this verse says, yes, it is true, we have to be alert and keep on praying for all the saints. Our witnessing for Jesus Christ is also for the whole world as in Acts 1:8. As per the Great commission of Jesus, going out and preaching the Gospel and making disciples also to be done in the whole world, as in Matth. 28:19. First, Many could not do this mainly because of our lack of concern for others. It is a fact. Second, Mainly people are living a very selfish life as in 2 Tim 3:2 "For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money," So, usually they will not take time for others. Even in the ‘Good Samaritan" parable, Jesus told, but for the Samaritan no one took time for the dying person. In such a busy and selfish world, It is easy for as to follow the customs of this world. But friends, we are not called to follow the ways of the world but to follow Jesus and His word. Third, here the bible says, "Be alert means we have to be very careful in fulfilling this God given Prayer Job. Only prayer moves the hands of the almighty God. Fourth, If we do not love others as we are loing ourselves We are not fulfilling the commandments of our God. Here, Praying for others, witnessing, preaching, discipling and Serving others all these commandments, we got them from the Lord only. Fifth, We have to practice loving others by taking time to pray for others. When we love some one surely we will give time for them. If we say I am very busy I cannot take time for others? Truly the love of God is not in us. Sixth,
But with out knowing any thing about this world
and its different type of people we cannot do anything. Even to visit
many nations for the Lord, like Apostle Paul we must know many information
about many countries of this present world. We ought to pray for the world and its need for the gospel (the Open door). For this I humbly ask all of you to give five minutes daily in your busy daily schedule. Let us start this now in Faith. Doing some thing for God is much better than doing nothing. If we are not doing anything for God, we will be cut and put in fire for not bearing any fruits for Him. It is my prayer for you that the Lord may help you to be alert and always keep on praying for all the Saints. |
