Dear Brothers and sister in the Lord,

Loving Greetings to all "Baroda Bible Club" members in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Once again I thank God for helping me to meet you all now. This Sunday we are going to meditate on the "Peace" Which comes from our God. For this first we must have an understanding about our God. In Isaiah 9:6 our Lord is being called as The ...‘Prince of Peace’.

1. In order to get the Peace of mind in our daily life as Jesus said in Mat.11:28 "Come to me(Jesus), all of you who are tired and have heavy loads. I will give you rest". Jesus the Prince of Peace is offering rest to every one who are willing to trust Him. Because many are so tired of their worldly problems and badly in need of a solution, cure a way out in life. Now, the question is, are they willing to trust Jesus?, if so, Will they come to Jesus?

2. To promote this Peace on this peaceless earth Jesus told all his disciples to pray for the peace in every house they go and visit as in Mat 10:12 As you enter the home, give it your greeting. Mat 10:13 If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you.

3. Our lord being a prince of Peace asks us to do some thing to get a peaceful living in 1 Tim 2:1 & 2 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

4. When Jesus is offering them a way out to all their problems. Trusting Him and responding to the Loving call of Jesus the Savior? The Bible says in Prov 14:30 A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.

5. So to all who like to live in this world this Peace is needed that is why in the bible Apostle Paul says in Phil. 4:6-7, "Do not worry about anything. But pray and ask God for everything you need. And when you pray, always give thanks. And God's peace will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. The peace that God gives is so great that we cannot understand it". So only God can give us the peace of mind.

6. But if you ask me who will get this peace of mind? The answer is in Isa. 32:17 The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever. The bible says in Deu 6:25 And if we are careful to obey all this law before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness." So, if we are very careful in obeying the word of God that will be our righteousness and the fruit of righteousness is Peace. The bible says God can give us peace that is beyond any human understanding. Friends, we can buy every thing with the help of money but not the peaceful mind.

7. That peace of mind you can get it from our Lord Jesus Christ who is the Prince of Peace. Shall we get this peace by trusting the Lord and carefully following the word of God. May the Lord bless you today.

Shall we pray today for this Peace which comes to us when we trust God.
May the Lord help us in our day to day life.
