God is a God of blessings. Every good and perfect gift is coming from Him as it is said in James 1:17. Here we are going to see about this first and basic blessing God has given for our increase like "Multiply" and "bearing fruits. Please consider this Multiplying and Being Fruitful as a very important blessings in our spiritual life and physical life.

This is the basic blessing God has given to our first Parent in the Garden. In Gen 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." And in Gen 1:28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

Later when mankind sinned against God. He destroyed the whole world with the water after that also he told to Noah in Gen 8:17 "Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you: birds and cattle and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, so that they may abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth." Also in Gen 9:1 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. And in Gen 9:7 And as for you, be fruitful and multiply; Bring forth abundantly in the earth And multiply in it."

Then if you see what God told Abraham in Gen 17:2 "And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly." Then to his son Isaac God told in Gen 26:24 And the LORD appeared to him the same night and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham's sake." Then to Jacob his son also God told this in Gen 35:11 Also God said to him: "I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body. Even the word Joseph also means multiply and fruitful.

Friends I am not giving all these reference to make you get more children, but to understand the concept of fruitful in our Physical as well as spiritual life. When the whole world is having a physical growth by begetting more children, Why are we not having spiritual growth in our life and why don't we pray God, who has called all His disciples to be fishers of men that we may be fruitful in our spiritual life? This is very important because in John 15:2 "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Otherwise he cuts all branches which are not bearing fruits and puts in fire. But if we bear fruit we will remain as His disciples in John 15:8 "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

But friends, when you start multiplying for God then wherever you are, people will try to stop your growth as In Exo 1:10 "come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and it happen, in the event of war, that they also join our enemies and fight against us, and so go up out of the land." But do not worry the more they try to stop your growth the more you are going to grow as in Exo 1:12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel. If you like to multiply for God the Secret is in Deu 8:1 "Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers.

Gen 16:10 Then the Angel of the LORD said to her, "I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude." Gen 17:20 "And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.

Gen 22:17 "blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.

Gen 26:4 "And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed;

Gen 48:4 "and said to me, 'Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will make of you a multitude of people, and give this land to your descendants after you as an everlasting possession.'

Gen 28:3 "May God Almighty bless you, And make you fruitful and multiply you, That you may be an assembly of peoples;

Exo 32:13 "Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own self, and said to them, 'I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.'"

Lev 26:9 'For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you.

Deu 6:3 "Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you; 'a land flowing with milk and honey.'

Deu 7:13 "And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you.

Deu 8:13 "and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied;

Deu 8:14 "when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

Deu 8:18 "And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day

Deu 8:19 "Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the LORD your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.

Deu 13:17 "So none of the accursed things shall remain in your hand, that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of His anger and show you mercy, have compassion on you and multiply you, just as He swore to your fathers,

Deu 28:58 "If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE LORD YOUR GOD,

Deu 28:59 "then the LORD will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues; great and prolonged plagues; and serious and prolonged sicknesses.

Deu 28:60 "Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you.

Deu 28:61 "Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the LORD bring upon you until you are destroyed.

Deu 28:62 "You shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of heaven in multitude, because you would not obey the voice of the LORD your God.

Deu 28:63 "And it shall be, that just as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good and multiply you, so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you and bring you to nothing; and you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess.

Deu 30:5 "Then the LORD your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.

Deu 30:16 "in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.

Psa 107:38 He also blesses them, and they multiply greatly; And He does not let their cattle decrease.

Jer 30:19 Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving And the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

Jer 33:22 'As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.'"

Ezek 36:29 "I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you.

Ezek 36:30 "And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations.

Amos 4:4 "Come to Bethel and transgress, At Gilgal multiply transgression; Bring your sacrifices every morning, Your tithes every three days.

Amos 4:5 Offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, Proclaim and announce the freewill offerings; For this you love, You children of Israel!" Says the Lord GOD.

2 Cor 9:10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

Heb 6:14 saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you."

1 Th 3:12 May the Lord make your love grow more and multiply for each other and for all people so that you will love others as we love you.



God Will Multiply And Make You Fruitful
