Little Faith |

Mat 6:30, If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Double minded People are unstable in all they do. Our Lord Jesus Christ told in Mat 6:24 "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. The great Prophet Elijah told in 1 Ki 18:21 Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? King David was saying in Psa 119:113 I hate double-minded men, but I love your law. Apostle James says in James 1:6 & 8, But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. So what we are to do now? James says in James 4:8 "Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Do Not Worry Do not worry about your life what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? (Mat 6:25 ) (i.). Food is for our body – Both what we eat and drink – for to live. (ii). Wearing dress is for our respect – What we dress reveals our status also. For this food and clothes we should never worry. At the time of our worries god is telling us to do this.
But the birds which are not as valuable as human beings are taken care of. yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Mat 6:27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life ? Mat 6:28 "And why do you worry about clothes?
But Jesus our Lord told even the great king Solomon did not dress like them. In Mat 6:29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
Mat 6:30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? The Pagans go after these things? Mat 6:31 & 32, So do not worry, saying, (i.), 'What shall we eat?' or (ii.), 'What shall we drink?' or (iii),'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. Why like other Pagans we are not to run after them? Because our heavenly Father knows that you need them. (Mat. 6:32) What God expects from us? Mat 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. To come out of this little faith and to grow more in our Faith what we are to do? Mat 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. If we have Faith what we will do at the time of our problems? Apostle Paul says in Phil 4:6 & 7, Do not be anxious (worry) about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. What God expects from us if we have faith on Him? Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him (1.), must believe that he exists and that (2.), he rewards those who earnestly seek him. When we have this faith that there is a God and He rewards those who seek Him. "worries cannot come to us we will be living with peace of mind all the time." May the Lord help each one of us to come out of all our worries and grow more in our faith life. Your ‘web-site’ Pastor. |
