God's Protections For The Servants Of God

Dear Servants of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Loving greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  We pray for all the servants of God who are doing a ministry for the Lord Jesus Christ and opened this page “Servants of God” with much love and concern in this “Baroda bible club” website.  I wish that the Lord may encourage all as they go through this messages in this “Servants of God” page, As it is it’s for both, of those who have a definite call of the Lord to do the full time service for the Lord and to those who are doing some ministry as a part time service in spite of other work for the glory of the Lord.

As we read this portion in Isa 41:8 to 14,

  1. "But you, O Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, - [When God called us we are like Jacob who even try to deceive even his own brother for his benefit like a selfish person but God with his love chosen such Jacob and changed him into a new creation as Israel to love others.  God has chosen us with a purpose as in John 15:16 & 17, You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each otherJesus Christ told in Mat 22:14  "For many are invited, but few are chosen."  Also in John 15:19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.  But apostle Paul says in Rom 8:33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.]
  1. I took you from the ends of the earth; from its farthest corners I called you. – [Jesus our master calls us with a purpose we should not miss that in our life as in Mat 4:18 & 19, “As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, and Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.  "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." That means we have to win the souls for the glory of the Lord.]
  1. I said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. – [To the young servant of God Joshua God told in Josh 1:5 No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.  This protection of God we will be getting when we live without any love for the money.  Definitely God will take care of us as in Heb 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." But apostle Paul says in 2 Cor 4:8 & 9, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
  1. So do not fear, for I am with you. – [Fear always comes from the devil and that is why all those who fear will go to hell as in Rev 21:8 But to the fearful and unbelieving, <and sinners>, and those who make themselves abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part <is> in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.  God is not giving us the spirit of fear as in 2 Tim 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.  So it is evident that Satan only makes us to fear, so let us fight against this fear believing God.]
  1. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. – We need not to feel disappointed since the Lord will comfort us Isa 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people, Isa 28:12 To whom He said, "This is the rest with which You may cause the weary to rest," And, "This is the refreshing"; Yet they would not hear.  Through the Holy Spirit God comforts us so he is our comforter as in John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.  In John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
  1. I will strengthen you and help you; - [Apostle Paul says I can do all things by the Lord Jesus Christ who strengthens me as in Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.]
  1. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. -  In Exo 15:6  "Your right hand, O LORD, was majestic in power. Your right hand, O LORD, shattered the enemy.  The psalmist says in Psa 17:7 “Show the wonder of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.  Psa 17:8 Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings
  1. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced. -  [The psalmist says in Psa 6:10 All my enemies will be ashamed and dismayed; they will turn back in sudden disgrace.  Apostle Paul says in 1 Cor 1:27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
  1. Those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. – This may happen as they stand against God and his children but our heart must be like our Lord Jesus Christ.  The bible says Jesus himself came into this world that we may not perish but have eternal life as in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  John 3:17  "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. So as the followers of our lord Jesus, we must also should not expect every one to perish but we must have a compassionate heart.
  1. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. – This may happen as they stand against God and his children but our heart must be like our Lord Jesus Christ.  But we have to bless those who curse us and we have to have a loving heart, which will love even our enemies as in Mat 5:44  "But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you
  1. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. – This may happen as they stand against God and his children but our heart must be like our Lord Jesus Christ.  Since God himself do all our battles and fight for us nobody can withstand but as the followers of our Lord Jesus Christ we have to pray for their well-being and we must develop a forgiving heart.
  1. For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand – [In Psa 18:35 You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great.  The psalmist also says in Psa 20:6 Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heaven with the saving power of his right hand.  Psa 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.  Psa 20:8 They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.
  1. I am the LORD says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.  – We are having a God who is interested in our well-being and helps us in our weakness as 2 Cor 12:9 And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
  1. Do not be afraid, O worm Jacob, O little Israel, for I myself will help you," – [In Isa 44:2 Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you, 'Do not fear, O Jacob My servant; And you Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

Declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

May the Lord help each one of us to believe His word and trust him wholeheartedly for his protections, since the Lord who watch over Israel will not sleep as in Psa 121:4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.  Amen.

With love and prayers

Yours in His Service,
