(Jer 11:6 NIV) The LORD said to me, "Proclaim all these words in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem : 'Listen to the terms of this covenant and follow them.
(Jer 11:8 NIV) But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubbornness of their evil hearts. So I brought on them all the curses of the covenant I had commanded them to follow but that they did not keep.'"

(Jer 34:10 NIV) So all the officials and people who entered into this covenant agreed that they would free their male and female slaves and no longer hold them in bondage. They agreed, and set them free.
(Jer 34:13 NIV) "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I made a covenant with your forefathers when I brought them out of Egypt , out of the land of slavery. I said,
(Jer 34:15 NIV) Recently you repented and did what is right in my sight: Each of you proclaimed freedom to his countrymen. You even made a covenant before me in the house that bears my Name.

(Ezek 16:60 NIV) Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.
(Ezek 16:61 NIV) Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed when you receive your sisters, both those who are older than you and those who are younger. I will give them to you as daughters, but not on the basis of my covenant with you.
(Ezek 16:62 NIV) So I will establish my covenant with you, and you will know that I am the LORD.
(Ezek 17:18 NIV) He despised the oath by breaking the covenant. Because he had given his hand in pledge and yet did all these things, he shall not escape.
(Ezek 17:19 NIV) "'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: As surely as I live, I will bring down on his head my oath that he despised and my covenant that he broke.
(Ezek 20:37 NIV) I will take note of you as you pass under my rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.
(Ezek 30:5 NIV) Cush and Put , Lydia and all Arabia , Libya and the people of the covenant land will fall by the sword along with Egypt .
(Ezek 34:25 NIV) "'I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of wild beasts so that they may live in the desert and sleep in the forests in safety.

(Ezek 44:7 NIV) In addition to all your other detestable practices, you brought foreigners uncircumcised in heart and flesh into my sanctuary, desecrating my temple while you offered me food, fat and blood, and you broke my covenant.
(Dan 9:4 NIV) I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed: "O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with all who love him and obey his commands,

(Dan 11:22 NIV) Then an overwhelming army will be swept away before him; both it and a prince of the covenant will be destroyed.
(Dan 11:28 NIV) The king of the North will return to his own country with great wealth, but his heart will be set against the holy covenant. He will take action against it and then return to his own country.
(Dan 11:30 NIV) Ships of the western coastlands will oppose him, and he will lose heart. Then he will turn back and vent his fury against the holy covenant. He will return and show favor to those who forsake the holy covenant.
(Dan 11:32 NIV) With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.

(Hosea 8:1 NIV) "Put the trumpet to your lips! An eagle is over the house of the LORD because the people have broken my covenant and rebelled against my law.

(Zec 11:10 NIV) Then I took my staff called Favor and broke it, revoking the covenant I had made with all the nations.
(Mal 2:4 NIV) And you will know that I have sent you this admonition so that my covenant with Levi may continue," says the LORD Almighty.
(Mal 2:5 NIV) "My covenant was with him, a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him; this called for reverence and he revered me and stood in awe of my name.
(Mal 2:8 NIV) But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble; you have violated the covenant with Levi," says the LORD Almighty.
(Mal 2:10 NIV) Have we not all one Father ? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our fathers by breaking faith with one another?
(Mal 2:14 NIV) You ask, "Why?" It is because the LORD is acting as the witness between you and the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant.
(Mal 3:1 NIV) "See, I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come," says the LORD Almighty.
(Mat 26:28 NIV) This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
(Mark 14:24 NIV) "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many," he said to them.
(Luke 1:72 NIV) to show mercy to our fathers and to remember his holy covenant,
(Luke 22:20 NIV) In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
(Acts 3:25 NIV) And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, 'Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.'
(Acts 7:8 NIV) Then he gave Abraham the covenant of circumcision. And Abraham became the father of Isaac and circumcised him eight days after his birth. Later Isaac became the father of Jacob, and Jacob became the father of the twelve patriarchs.
(Rom 11:27 NIV) And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins."
(1 Cor 11:25 NIV) In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me."
(2 Cor 3:6 NIV) He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant--not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
(2 Cor 3:14 NIV) But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.
(Gal 3:15 NIV) Brothers, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case.
(Gal 3:17 NIV) What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise.
(Gal 4:24 NIV) These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar.
(Heb 7:22 NIV) Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.
(Heb 8:6 NIV) But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises.
(Heb 8:7 NIV) For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.
(Heb 8:8 NIV) But God found fault with the people and said : "The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah .
(Heb 8:9 NIV) It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt , because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord.
(Heb 8:10 NIV) This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
(Heb 8:13 NIV) By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.
(Heb 9:1 NIV) Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary.
(Heb 9:4 NIV) which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron's staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.
(Heb 9:15 NIV) For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance--now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
(Heb 9:18 NIV) This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood.
(Heb 9:20 NIV) He said, "This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep."
(Heb 10:16 NIV) "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds."
(Heb 10:29 NIV) How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
(Heb 12:24 NIV) to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
(Heb 13:20 NIV) May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,
(Rev 11:19 NIV) Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hailstorm.
Yours in the kingdom of God's service,
Rev. Dr. T. Marcus Devasahayam.
