Dear brothers and sisters,
Loving Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today let us see about the importance of getting the forgiveness of our sin through the Lord Jesus Christ. We can have the permanent blessings of God only when we have this forgiveness of our sin as in Rom 4:7 & 8. The bible says very clearly that all those who were born on this earth have sinned and come short of the glory of God as in Rom 3:23 no one can claim they are very pure and without any sin as in 1 John 1:8, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” Though the forgiveness of sin is available to all those who live in this world through Jesus Christ many are not understanding this word as in Acts 4:12, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Many are not realizing that their sin will keep them faraway from God as in Isa.59: 2, “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear” So as a result they continuously live and ultimately die in sin. But after death all have to face the Judgment of God for the way we lived in this world as in Heb 9:27, “Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment” so before we die we have to put our faith on the lord Jesus Christ and ask him to forgive all our sins. The bible says God will forgive us if we ask God to forgive all our sin by confessing them as in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” But in stead of confessing them if any one tries to conceal his sin he will not prosper in life as in Prov. 28:13, “He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”
Today most of the people on this earth are living without the assurance of their salvation. They do not know about the forgiveness of their sin and not having an assurance, that even if they die today they will definitely go to be with the lord in heaven. Because they do not know the true Saviour, who can forgive their sin. So it is our duty to testify for the lord Jesus Christ to other friends who are working or living with us . Definitely all those who have come to this level of faith can say now they are a blessed person on this earth by the grace of God. God loved us so much that he made plans to rescue us from the coming wrath of God as in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
When we confess our sin God removes them from our lives as the word of God says in Psa 103:12, “as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” When we believe our Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior we become a legal child of God as the bible says in John 1:12, ‘Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”. After that we can call God as our Father and get our prayers answered by the Lord as in Rom 8:15, “For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."
After getting the forgiveness of our sin and become the child of God, Satan has no authority over us because now we have come under the covering of our lord Jesus Christ. We have become a new creation in this world through Jesus Christ and all the old sinful way have totally gone from us. That is why the bible says you are a blessed person as in Psa 32:1 & 2, “Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.
May the Lord help each one of us to come to this blessed state by getting the forgiveness of our sin through the Lord Jesus Christ. May the lord help us to keep on testifying to others about what the lord has done to us in our personal life. This is the only way to gain total victory over the devil as in Rev 12:11, They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” Amen.
Devotional Prayer: Oh, Lord Please forgive all my sins and wash me through the blood of Jesus Christ and accept me as your child in Jesus name I ask. Amen.

Rom 3:10 As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;
Rom 3:11 there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God.
Rom 3:12 All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one."
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.
Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Mat 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
What can we learn from this story? We can learn from this that Jesus have the authority to forgive our sins through His blood. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sins.
