Prov. 14:1, “The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.”

Dear brothers and sisters,

Loving greetings in the name of our lord Jesus Christ. Today let us see about the importance of the wise woman who can build the house for the glory of God. We can take it for building the earthly house as well as to build the house of God the kingdom of God. The bible says we are all the members of the body of Jesus Christ (the church), which is the bride of Christ. So we all need the wisdom of God in our lives. The lord Jesus Christ told about the ten virgins in a parable. In that He said the wise virgins only had the privilege of meeting the bridegroom Jesus Christ and the unwise virgins who were are all not ready were left behind when the bridegroom came. So let us carefully study these things and understand the importance of having the wisdom of God in our lives. So that we will not be left behind when the lord comes to take His bride the church to be with Him in the coming of the lord. In this let us carefully study the characters of the wise women and the wise virgins. So that we can correct our selves and used by God to build some thing useful for the kingdom of God.

1. All can get the wisdom of God from the lord who generously gives to all this wisdom as in James 1:5, “any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” But the lonely condition God made for that is that we must trust and ask for it from God without doubting Him as in James 1:6, “But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” That means all of us who are following the Lord Jesus (the bride of Jesus) can get the wisdom form the lord and we all can be used to build the kingdom of God the church where ever we may be.
2. The bible says the wise women will build their house but the foolish one will destroy them as in Prov. 14:1, “The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.” One thing is very clear in this scripture that no one is inactive or remains without doing some thing and all are either building or breaking their own earthly house or the house of God. So we must pray that we may not be used by Satan knowingly or unknowingly to break the house. So, Let us pray that we may not cause the damage to the house where we live and damage the church of God which is the real body of Jesus Christ.
3. The bible talks about the wise and the foolish virgins in Mat. 25: 1 to 12, In that we see about the wise took their lamps along with the oil as in Mat 25:4, “The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. But the foolish failed to take the oil along with their lamps as in Mat 25:3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them” [the readiness is to go with the sufficient oil in the part of wise virgins]
4. The wise virgins refused to give their oil to the foolish virgins when they asked for some oil in the last minete, since it may prevent both of them from meeting the bridegroom as in Mat 25:8 & 9, ‘The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.' Vs.9, "'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.' [we must also understand when to help anybody and when to refuse]
5. The foolish could not do the job in the right time and so they all missed the bridegroom as in Mat 25:10, “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

May the lord help each one of us to follow him as a wise virgin or a wise woman who will build the house and also can be used to build the church. To build the church we have to win souls for the glory of God. That is why the bible says He who wins souls is wise. Without bearing any fruits for the glory of God we will be cut and thrown in the fire. Why not we ask God since He is willing to give all the needed wisdom? Amen.

Further Bible Study

2 Sam 14:2 So Joab sent someone to Tekoa and had a wise woman brought from there. He said to her, "Pretend you are in mourning. Dress in mourning clothes, and don't use any cosmetic lotions. Act like a woman who has spent many days grieving for the dead. 2 Sam 20:16 to 22; “a wise woman called from the city, "Listen! Listen! Tell Joab to come here so I can speak to him." 2 Sam 20:17 He went toward her, and she asked, "Are you Joab?" "I am," he answered. She said, "Listen to what your servant has to say." "I'm listening," he said. 2 Sam 20:18 She continued, "Long ago they used to say, 'Get your answer at Abel,' and that settled it. 2 Sam 20:19 We are the peaceful and faithful in Israel. You are trying to destroy a city that is a mother in Israel. Why do you want to swallow up the Lord's inheritance?" 2 Sam 20:20 "Far be it from me!" Joab replied, "Far be it from me to swallow up or destroy! 2 Sam 20:21 That is not the case. A man named Sheba son of Bicri, from the hill country of Ephraim, has lifted up his hand against the king, against David. Hand over this one man, and I'll withdraw from the city." The woman said to Joab, "His head will be thrown to you from the wall." 2 Sam 20:22 Then the woman went to all the people with her wise advice, and they cut off the head of Sheba son of Bicri and threw it to Joab. So he sounded the trumpet, and his men dispersed from the city, each returning to his home. And Joab went back to the king in Jerusalem.”
Job 2:10 He replied, "You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?" In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.
Prov 9:13 A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing. Prov 9:14 For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
