Today's Rhema
Psa 23:6, “Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Dear brothers and sisters,

Loving greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today let us see about the goodness and the mercy of the lord which will follow all His children all the days of their life, as they dwell in the house of God. To dwell in the house of God we must be brought to it by the lord. After accepting Jesus Christ as our saviour he brings us to His temple as in Acts 2:47, “And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Because the sinners cannot stay in the company of the saints as in Psa 1:5, “Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.”

When we stay with the children of God who like to follow the word of God very strictly (as in Deu 6:25.) definitely we will see the goodness and the mercy of God following us. That is why the Psalmist asks for a very special boon from the lord as in Psa 27:4, “One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.”

That is why the bible says the righteous (the one who follows the word of God very strictly) will stay with the Church as in Psa 92:12 & 13, “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.” Also in Psa 116:18 & 19, “I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people, in the courts of the house of the LORD-- in your midst, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD.”

You may ask what is the specialty of staying in the temple of God?
First of all, the specialty of staying in the temple of God is explained by him in Psa 27:5, “For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.” - [God keeps us safe in the time of trouble in the temple of God and protects us there.]
Secondly, the specialty of staying in the temple of God is explained in Psa 27:6, “Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.” – [they will be always exalted among their enemies and God will never put them down in front of their enemies.]

In the time of Ezra and Nehemiah people contributed very generously to have the church got established as in Ezra 1:5 & 6, “Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites--everyone whose heart God had moved--prepared to go up and build the house of the LORD in Jerusalem. All their neighbors assisted them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with valuable gifts, in addition to all the freewill offerings.”

May the Lord bless each one of us today as we dwell in the temple of God and enjoy His goodness and mercy in this life on this earth. Amen.

Asia

1 The spectacular growth of the Church in some countries of Asia observed in the 1980s has continued in the 1990s
a) All Christians have increased from 22 million (2.3%) in 1900 to over 300 million (8.3%) in 2000
b) Protestant and Independent Christians increased from under 4 million in 1900 to over 193 million in 2000
c) Catholic growth was slower — from 11.1 million (1.2%) to 96 million (2.6%)
d) Asian Evangelicals, over 130 million, have become almost as numerous as all Evangelicals in the Americas
2 The establishment of the Church in lands long sealed off from all overt Christian work with hundreds of churches and thousands of believers in Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and footholds for the gospel gained in a number of others
3 South Korea’s maturing Church
4 Indonesia is the first largely Muslim country to have many Muslims coming to Christ
5 The increase in the number of Muslim Background Believers (MBBs), despite or even because of, the activities of Islamist extremism
6 Detailed and dedicated research during the 1990s in India, China, Indonesia and SE Asia has revealed the spiritual needs and the extent of Christian outreach, or the need for it, to the various peoples in these complex, multi-cultural lands
7 The emergence of a mature, international missionary involvement
