Prov. 30:8 & 9, “Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, 'Who is the LORD?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.”

Dear brothers and sisters,

Loving greetings in Jesus name. Today let us see about the importance of praying to the Almighty God for our daily needs. Before praying for our daily needs we must consciously pray and put two things out of our lives they are Falsehood and lies. We are living in a world in which many are going after the falsehood and lies. But as a Christian though we are in this world we should not follow the worldly principles of this world.

But Apostle Paul says clearly we must put off falsehood as in (Eph 4:25, “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak [1] truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. Why we should consciously put off falsehood from our lives? Because they will end up in hell as in Rev 22:15, “Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

Secondly, The same way the bible says Satan is the father of lies as in John 8:44, “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” All those who practice and speak lies will end up in hell so put them off from your life as in Rev 21:8, “But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

We have to pray to God for all our daily needs. The lord Jesus Christ himself in His prayer what He thought to all His disciples advised them to pray for the daily bread Our Lord Jesus Christ himself taught his disciples to pray for the daily bread as in Mat 6:11, “Give us this day our daily bread.” Also in Luke 11:3, “Give us day by day our daily bread.” Here the wise man also says in the proverb as in Prov 30:8, “Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. That is the only way to keep our faith active. When we have every thing in abundance we may lose all the faith in God and question his existence or we may lack the daily needs and do something which is not right before the Lord as in Prov 30:9, “Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, 'Who is the LORD?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.”
Apostle Paul says my God will give all my needs as in Phil 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. There is one more spiritual daily bread also we have to pray and get from God since our lord told man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. Job says similar thing in Job 23:12, “I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.”
May the Lord help each one of us to pray for the daily needs by consciously putting off falsehood and lies from our lives. Amen
