Today's Rhema
“Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you while you may be found; surely when the mighty waters rise, they will not reach him.”

Dear brothers and sisters,
Loving greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today let us see very clearly about the importance of trusting the lord and praying to Him. Prayer is nothing but talking to our heavenly father through lord Jesus Christ who is our intercessor before Him. We cannot do this without having faith on God and without having our faith on Him we cannot make God happy in our lives as in Heb 11:6, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” We must believe that the lord answers all our prayers and we must speak to God in faith.

Let us see some of the reasons why the Psalmist prayed to God:
First of all, He says God is his hiding place from all his enemies as in Psa 32:7, “You are my hiding place;
Secondly, He was so sure that He will protect him at any cost as in Psa 32:7, “you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah”
Thirdly, God will lead us by instructing us very clearly since we do not know what to do many times as in Psa 32:8:
• “I will instruct you
• and teach you in the way you should go;
• I will counsel you
• And watch over you.”

Fourthly, we should not be very stubborn but we must be humble and willing to come to the lord as in Psa 32:9, “Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.”

Fifthly, we must get the love of God by trusting Him as in Psa 32:10 Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him.

Sixthly, we must rejoice in the lord since the joy of the lord is our strength as in Psa 32:11, “Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous;”

Finally, we must learn to praise God by singing songs of thanks giving, since He lives among the praises of His people as in Psa 32:11, “sing, all you who are upright in heart!

May the Lord help each one of us to follow Him with a simple trust and cast our entire burden before Him in prayers so that we can have the peace of God always in our lives. Amen.

Further Bible Study

Phil 4:6 & 7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Today's Prayer

Europe

1 The massive culture-change in Europe as postmodernism and post-Christian world views predominate and control the media
2 The political integration of Europe has gathered pace the ultimate form, the degree of democratic accountability and the extent of sacrifice of national sovereignty are matters for intense debate and concern
3 The ethnic fragmentation of Europe
4 A steady erosion of religious freedom all over Europe
a) Secular society which regards Christian absolutes with intolerance and as the ‘unpardonable sin’
b) Governments who have over-reacted to extreme acts of small sectarian groups and arbitrarily black-listed a wide range of innocent religious groups
c) The Orthodox Church which, in many countries of central and eastern Europe, has reacted vigorously to minority religious groups through pressing for discriminatory legislation, harassment and misleading propaganda against them
5 The increasing flow of immigrants - both legal and illegal from outside Europe
6 The growth of Muslim communities through immigration and a higher birth rate is such that Islam has become the second religion of Europe
