Dear brothers and sisters,
Loving greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus
Christ. Today let us see clearly about the limitations of all
the magicians over the work of God and His people. The magicians
of this world also can compete with us for a while and if we stand
very boldly for our God finally one day they will testify to the
glory of our lord that they cannot stand and do any more and declare
the greatness of our God over all other powers of this earth.
They can try to do the same and deceive the people for a limited
time but in the long run they themselves will acknowledge before
others that this is the hand of God we cannot do this any more.
When Aaron put his staff down it become a snack
in front of the Pharaoh in the same way, when the magicians were
called they also did the same. For a while the magicians were
enjoying a success in their magic art as we see first in Exo.
7:10 to 12, “So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did
just as the LORD commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front
of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake. Pharaoh then
summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also
did the same things by their secret arts: Each one threw down
his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron's staff swallowed up
their staffs.”
Secondly, again when the Aaron did turn the water
into blood they did the same as in Exo 7:20 to 22, “Moses
and Aaron did just as the LORD had commanded. He raised his staff
in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials and struck the water
of the Nile, and all the water was changed into blood. The fish
in the Nile died, and the river smelled so bad that the Egyptians
could not drink its water. Blood was everywhere in Egypt. But
the Egyptian magicians did the same things by their secret arts,
and Pharaoh's heart became hard; he would not listen to Moses
and Aaron, just as the LORD had said.”
Thirdly, when Aaron did make the frogs to come
out of the water they also did the same as in Exo 8:6 & 7,
“So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt,
and the frogs came up and covered the land. But the magicians
did the same things by their secret arts; they also made frogs
come up on the land of Egypt.”
Fourthly, when Aaron struck the dust of the ground
the gnats came but the magicians could not do that and they acknowledged
in front of the pharaoh that this is the finger of God as in Exo
8:17 to 19, “and when Aaron stretched out his hand with
the staff and struck the dust of the ground, gnats came upon men
and animals. All the dust throughout the land of Egypt became
gnats. But when the magicians tried to produce gnats by their
secret arts, they could not. And the gnats were on men and animals.
The magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God."
But Pharaoh's heart was hard and he would not listen, just as
the LORD had said.” That finger of God will drive out all
the demons as our lord Jesus Christ told in Luke 11:20, “But
if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of
God has come to you.”
In another words what God is teaching us through
this that we should not give us easily and we should boldly take
each challenge and prove to them the power of God is superior
to all other powers of this world as we live in this wicked generation.
Because God will give us the ultimate triumph over the enemy one
day and they will confirm to all the people of this earth that
it is the hand of God. They will confess that they cannot do it
and testify for the glory of God if we keep one stand in the side
of God.
May the Lord help us to follow the word of God
and obey to all of them whole heartedly so that in our lives we
can get the anointing of God. That anointing will break all the
yokes of the devil and help us to have victory over Satan. Amen.
