Prov 14:30 to 32, “A heart
at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. He who
oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever
is kind to the needy honors God. When calamity comes, the
wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous have a refuge.
Dear friends,
Loving Greetings in the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ. I like to give three things for this month from this
verse in Prov 14:30 to 32,
v First
of all Only our Lord Jesus who is the “Prince of Peace” can give us
the heart of peace because we are living in a world where there is no
peace. That is why he invited all those who labor and in pain to come
to him as in Mat 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and
burdened, and I will give you rest. It is not God’s will that you
may suffer and live in pain, rather he wants us to live happily with
him in good relationship.
v
Secondly what we have to do now as a real child of
God is to have this kindness in our Character since this is the way
we can honor God as in but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.
v Thirdly,
As we follow the word of God very carefully (which is our righteousness
as in Deu 6:25 “And if we are careful to obey all this law before the
LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness.")
even in the death we will have a refuge as in “When calamity comes,
the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous have
a refuge.
- “A heart at peace gives life
to the body, but envy rots the bones. – A Man’s
heart is wicked as Jesus pointed it out in Mat 15:18 to 20,
“But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and
these make a man 'unclean.' For out of the heart come (1.), evil
thoughts, (2.), murder, (3.), adultery, (4.), sexual immorality,
(5.), theft, (6.), false testimony, (7.), slander. These are
what make a man 'unclean' but eating with unwashed hands
does not make him 'unclean.'" And because of this unclean heart
a man suffers a lot but when a person come to the Lord Jesus Christ
he purifies his heart and gives him a peaceful heart now the blessing
is a new life to his body. Many have testifies this in the public
when Jesus came into their heart they got healed of their diseases
also. When we have the love of God in our hearts we wont have this
envy so all our bones will be well by His grace.
- He who oppresses the poor shows
contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors
God. The only way to get more blessing is by honoring our
Lord who has created every thing we see today. Jesus Christ our Lord
told in Mat 23:23 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier
provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these
are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.
The bible says about the blessings what all we get when we are kind
to the poor as in Psa 41:1 to 3,
“Blessed
is he who considers the poor;
The
LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
The
LORD will preserve him and keep him alive,
And
he will be blessed on the earth;
You
(God) will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
The
LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness;
You
(God) will sustain him on his sickbed.
- When calamity comes, the wicked
are brought down, but even in death the righteous have a refuge.
The third main blessing, I like to point out for this month is
when we practice this righteousness by carefully following the word
of God as in Deu 6:25 “And if we are careful to obey all this law
before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our
righteousness." Even in death we will have a refuge.
May the Lord help us to have all these blessings
in our life. Amen.
