God's Promise For April - 2002

  1. Isa. 58:11 The LORD will guide you always; - [let us believe this that the Lord will guide us in our life since he has told us through the Holy Spirit he will guide us as in John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.]
  1. The LORD will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land. – [For nearly forty years in the wilderness God gave his children every thing they needed in life.  It is really amazing to calculate with our brain all this.  It is more than 6,00,000 men as it is in Exo. 12:37 The Israelites journeyed from Rameses to Succoth. There were about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children.  With their wives another 6,00,000 and if each of them had four children each another 24,00,000 so we can say some 36,00,000 people on the move in the wilderness, this is more than a city walking out.  If you had a chance to talk with any Mayor of a big city of this size, they will be able to tell us how much water they have to provide each day.  But God did every thing without fail for forty long years, which no political leader no this earth can claim or can say they did that long period.  To provide water and food to them every morning and satisfy them in the wilderness and to help them to walk day and night, he gave the pillar of cloud in the daytime and the pillar of fire in the night.  Do you believe that the same God we are serving and He will do the same thing for us also.
  1. The LORD will strengthen your frame. – [What ever size you may be or what ever may be your body frame size may be surely God will give you strength that is why apostle Paul said in Phil 4:13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength.]
  1. You will be like a well-watered garden, - [we all know the difference between a well watered Garden and the waterless Garden.]
  1. Like a spring whose waters never fail.  – [Every one needs water when we buy a house we always cheek the availability of water.  Here it says the water will not fail]
  1. Isa 58:12 Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins – [To build itself take time and to build permanently ruined places will take more efforts.  So God says he will enable us to build more.]
  1. Will raise up the age-old foundations; - [to raise age-old foundations also a big task since that also take good efforts and patience.]
  1. You will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, - [It is a credit to any one if he can repair the broken walls since that will take more time than building a new wall.]
  1. Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.  – [To restore a place to have people to dwell needs more planning and efforts]

May the Lord help us to do these things in this month of April 2002 by the devine strength which he himself gives to his children.  Amen

For those who can respect the day of the Lord and keep one day free to worship the Lord God will give some more blessings as in Isa 58:13 & 14.  The bible says in Heb 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

  1. Isa 58:13  "If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath
  2. From doing as you please on my holy day,
  3. If you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord's holy day honorable,
  4. If you honor it:
    • By not going your own way
    • Not doing as you please
    • Speaking idle words,

1.      Isa 58:14 then you will find your joy in the LORD, and

2.      I will cause you to ride on the heights of the land and

3.      To feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob."

The mouth of the LORD has spoken.

May the Lord help us to have these blessings also in our life as we stay in a good fellowship with the saints of the Lord.  Amen.
