God's Promise For February - 2001

Exo 14:14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still."

Dear brothers and sisters of our "Baroda Bible Club",

Loving Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. In this New month February 2001God has given us a new Promise to strengthen our faith life. This is from Exo 14:14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still." We must read the message given by the servant of the most-high God here as in Exo 14:13 Moses answered the people,

(1.), "Do not be afraid. We must know how and when this fear is coming in our life? (Gen 3:10 NIV) He answered, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid." Immediately God asked him a question, "Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"

Our Lord Jesus Christ has told in Mat 10: 28 "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Also in Mat 10: 30 & 31, "And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

(2.), Stand firm : We have to stand firm in our commitment to our Lord. Apostle Paul says in I Cor 15: 58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. Any one who is standing firm in the Lord will bear fruits as it is in John 15: 4 "Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. Also in I Cor.16:13 "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Apostle Paul says God can help us to stand firm in 2 Cor.1: 21 "Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us." In 2 Cor.1:24 but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm.

(3.), you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The deliverance belongs to the Lord. That is why the Prophet Moses told them as in Exo 14:13 "Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. Also in 2 Chr 20:17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.'" In 2 Sam 22: 2 He said: "The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; Also in the Psalm 18: 2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

(4.), The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. God will never keep us under the same kind of test again and again. Once we got victory in one test the same kind will not be coming again. That is what Moses the man of God said here in Exo 14:13 "Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians (Our enemies who keep on enslaving us in different matters can not over power us. ) you see today you will never see again. Also in John 8: 51 I tell you the truth, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death."

The Bible says in Deu.1:30 "The LORD your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, Also in Deu. 3:21 & 22, "At that time I commanded Joshua: "You have seen with your own eyes all that the LORD your God has done to these two kings. The LORD will do the same to all the kingdoms over there where you are going. Do not be afraid of them; the LORD your God himself will fight for you." In Deu.20:4 "For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory."

May the Lord help each one of us to be bold since the Lord has not given us the spirit of fear as in 2 Tim.1: 7 "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. As we stand firm in our faith God will certainly fight for us and give us his blessings and strength in this new month. Have a victorious month in Jesus Christ.
