God's Promise For December - 2001

1 John 2:8 Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.  1 John 2:9 anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. 1 John 2:10 whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble.  1 John 2:11 But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.

Dear Baroda Bible Club members,

Loving Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank God who has lead us until now safely in this year 2001.  Now by his grace we have come to the last month of this year and soon we are going to enter in to the New Year 2002.

Friends I had a great burden given by the Lord, to pray and show you this truth so that the coming days will be a great blessings for us.  Kindly go through these words with prayer.  It is my prayer that the Lord may bless you in this month as we read this message and prepare our hearts for the coming month and the new year 2002.

Though our Lord told that we are the Light of this world many times we are in the darkness simply because we could not love every one whom we see through our eyes as in 1 John 4:20  If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.

First of all,  In 1 John 2:9 anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. We cannot do much in the darkness, surely we cannot do much when we stay in the darkness and our working ability will also come down as we try to do something being in the darkness.  What keeps us in the darkness?  That is the work of the devil we have to understand first in our life.  When we hate those who are called by the Lord and working for the Lord? what ever the reasons may be, it makes us to be in the darkness so we also could not do much for God.

Secondly we stumble,  In 1 John 2:10 whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble.  we have to understand this problem which Devil put in every leading Christian’s life, so that they cannot do any thing steadily for Christ.  We keep changing our goals and ministry without a vision and commitment because of this and many times we get disappointed and feel like stopping all our activities we are doing for the lord.  As we have this hatred against our brothers.

Thirdly, Apostle John says here in 1 John 2:11 But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.  Friends if you do not want to go through this month and the coming New Year in a blind way, kindly let us look at our own life and cheek what we are doing? Is there any hatred towards some children of God we have in our heart? we have to examine and find out today.  So that the darkness cannot bind us any longer.  Let us remember the fact as in Col 1:12  giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.  Col 1:13  For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.

May the Lord help us to come out of all darkness by overcoming this hatred in our hearts by getting the love of Jesus as in Rom 5:5  And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.  Let us ask the Holy Spirit of God to fill our hearts every day with the Love of God so that we cannot be ruled by any hatred but only by the love of God.  This is the way to stay in the light and do more work for the Lord.

Kindly go through the December month 1st day message the Rhema,

1 John 2:9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness.

Dear brothers and sisters,

Loving greetings in Jesus name.  Today let us see about the powers of hatred through our bible.

1.      Hatred does not need any cause or reason as in Psa 109:3  With words of hatred they surround me; they attack me without cause.

  1. People can hate even there friends when they get this spirit of hatred as in Psa 109:5  They repay me evil for good, and hatred for my friendship.

3.      Hatred makes us to think all as our enemies as in Psa 139:22  I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies.

4.      Hatred produce lack of agreement as in Prov 10:12 Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.

5.      Hatred is more associated with lying lips as in Prov 10:18 He who conceals his hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool.

6.      Hatred makes us to take away others hard work and leave them nothing as in Ezek 23:29 They will deal with you in hatred and take away everything you have worked for. They will leave you naked and bare,

7.      Our hatred will bring God’s judgment as in Ezek 35:11 therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will treat you in accordance with the anger and jealousy you showed in your hatred of them and I will make myself known among them when I judge you.

8.      Hatred makes us not to inherit the kingdom of the Lord as in Gal 5:20 & 21, idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

9.      Hatred makes us associated with the world rather than with God as in James 4:4 You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

May the Lord help us to come out of all hatred today to inherit god’s blessings for our lives.
