God's Promise For December - 2000

How to receive the answers for all our prayer needs?

Bible Study from:

1 John 3:21to 24, Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God.

and "receive from him anything we ask", because

(1.), we obey his commands and

(2.), do what pleases him.

And this is his command: (1 John 3:24 Those who obey His commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.)

(1.), to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and (1 John 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God;)

(2.), to love one another as he commanded us. 1 John 4:20 If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. 1 John 4:21 And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.

How to have confidence before God? or When our hearts will not condemn us?

(1.), we obey his commands and 1 John 3:24 Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. (not every one who is a Christian by birth) Even for our first parent it was very hard to obey. They also sinned because of disobedience only.

(2.), do what pleases him. Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Apostle John says in 1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has told in John 15:4 "Abide in Me, and I in you.

Why to abide in the Lord Jesus Christ?

Unless we abide in the Lord Jesus Christ we cannot bear any fruit as in

(1.), John 15:4 "As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

(2.), John 15:6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch,

What will be the real benefit of abiding in the Lord Jesus Christ?

John 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and

(1.), My words abide in you,

(2.), ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you.

Why should we bear fruit?

(1.), John 15:2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit,

He takes away; + John 15:6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch,

(2.), John 15:6 and dries up; and they gather them,

(3.), John 15:6 and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

What will happen if we are not bearing any fruits for the glory of God?

(1.), We won’t be cleansed and purified by the Lord If we fail to bear fruits for the glory of the Lord. John 15:2 "every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it, that it may bear more fruit. Unless we are pure we can not see God. Since He is a holy God.

(2.), Unless we bear fruits for the glory of the Lord we are not glorifying God through our deeds but only may be by the lips. John 15:8 By this (bearing fruits) is My Father glorified,

(3.), Only those who bear much fruit alone will get the privilege of becoming the disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ and can follow Him. In John 15:8 that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

How to abide in Christ?

John 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, "ask whatever you wish", and it shall be done for you.

(1.), By carefully abiding according to the word of God. Even we may get rejected if we fail to do the will of God. (Mat 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.)

(2.), John 10:26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.

(3.), John 10:27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and

(4.), John 10:27 they follow me.

May the Lord help each one of us to abide in the Lord by abiding in His word and also doing every thing carefully according to the word of God. So that we will be able to keep all His commandments and please Him. By doing this we will also regain our confidence to stand before God at any time and ask Him any thing without any shadow of fear. My dear Friends for you The promise of God for this month is that "our Lord will help you to get every thing what ever we are going to ask Him" provided we keep His commandments and abide as per the word of God. That is why Jesus told His disciples in "Mat 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. What is His righteousness? In Deu 6:25 And if we are careful to obey all this law before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness."

It is my prayer that we may all in this month very carefully follow the word of god so that we can do seek His righteousness in our life and stand very confidently before the throne of grace and get all our prayer needs being answered by our loving God.
